Catching up

ok, ok, i know i promised i would be posting more blogs, but i am sooooooo lazy! i have been taking lots of pictures, but i am just very bad about putting them on the site! so here are a few things to get you updated!
my hubby was so sweet, and he renewed my season tickets to the wnba sparks games for next summer. because he did this, i got to take my picture with the whole sparks team - totally awesome! here is jordan's latest test for karate (this first one cracks me up!)
i think it is just so cute that these little bitty kids are doing karate!

running around at the church picnic...
this is at the march air force museum...
ok, here is a picture i took to mess with my camera a little - proof that the settings really do make a difference! first i took the picture on auto setting...
then i switched to the night landscape setting - what an amazing difference! (i know this one is still a little blurry, but like i said i am still learning how to work this camera - i really think it is smarter than me!)jordan and kyle on the swinging ferris wheel at disney california adventure (angel took my camera on the ride and shot this - i can't get on this ride i will throw up!)
ok what a HAM!!!
here is our birthday boy - 6 years old now! his favorite thing is always getting to lick the beaters!
kevin is REALLY getting good at the cake decorating! i get more impressed with his endeavours each birthday!
we celebrated at john's incredible pizza - SO much FUN! here is kyle with his birthday crown!

he got a new bike from grandpa (he outgrew the first one) but this one is so much bigger that we had him keep the training wheels on until he gets used to it. he had just started riding without the training wheels a couple of months ago, and i didn't want him to get discouraged while getting used to such a bigger bike!

Solvang

a trip to solvang... i actually wouldn't recommend it if you take small children - you spend most of your time NOT going into the neat little shops because you will just be in there the whole time saying "don't touch", "stop running", "DON'T TOUCH!" lol. we had some fun doing things outdoors though! like the first thing the kids saw - if you were little do you think you could resist this phone booth?!

heard of a "bicycle built for two?" well, here is the family size upgrade! of course kevin had to do most of the work since the cycling motion hurts my knees so bad. what a good guy!
a word to the wise... never let your 4 year old be the navigator! lol

ok, i really wanted all three kids in this picture, but it was just impossible to get all three of them to do what i wanted. kyle got it down perfect though! if you've never been to solvang, there is one shop that is a child's dream... candyland! BARRELS of candy!

ok, what a goofball! (that's why we love him isn't it?!)
this was kevin's attempt at getting the kids to join him in his goofy adventures.... does it look like the guys are holding up the giant rock? and of course, notice who gets to be the queen of the hill and make the boys work a little harder! lol

Kevin's Skydive

Something kevin has always wanted to do is skydive, but hadn't yet.... so here is a happy birthday for my hubby!
first, getting all strapped in... ready to go!
loading into the plane...
i love this picture it's so sweet of the kids watching dad fly off!
here he comes!
yay! a safe landing!
absolutely LOVE this picture! makes me think of a military man coming home from his tour and seeing his kids for the first time in a long time (i know that has nothing to do with what is going on here, but it just looks so nostalgic to me)
and he has the certificate to prove his adventure folks!
