of course the first thing all three kids were begging to do was go swimming! we still had a couple of hours before we even set sail. i think all three of them would choose to live in a swimming pool if they had gills!
ooh, he so got caught trying to splash his siblings (and with their backs turned no less - surprise attack! how rude!)
finally just about time to set sail - they throw a big "adventures away" party up on deck with dancing, streamers, music, & characters!
of course there are tons of photo opportunites with the characters...

this cracks me up! this was benny the robot - kyle's school project. kevin put velcro on it so we could change out the mouth and eyebrows to make him have different expressions.
a couple of fun activites on board.... soap car races (the losers got their cars smashed to pieces - the kids loved it!)
"steering the ship" it's set up like the real controls, & it's like playing a giant video game!
the kids really loved the water slide - i would have loved it too if adults were allowed on it - how rude! lol
so on several days the kids' pools were closed. i asked why & the crew member said that the waves were too choppy, and that kids could get thrown agains the sides. ok makes sense, i can see a little of that here...
ah, ok now i really get it! lol dude that wave is taller than that kid!
no, we don't always look like this - it's pirate night!
the adults only dining night (that's why we look so peaceful ha ha)...

this was on stage for the "parents show". kyle wimped out and didn't go up, zachary was totally hidden in the back, but i got jordan front and center, and this picture just shows so much emotion - everything she was feeling just unable to be contained! (bummer it is yellowish i didn't have the flash on).
